Privacy Policy
BadgeForge does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. It is an offline-first app, and everything you create stays on your device by default.
1. Data We Handle
BadgeForge requires no account. Everything you create — goals, tasks, badges, progress records, and any evidence photos you attach — is stored locally on your device in the app's private database. We have no servers and receive none of this information.
2. iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you turn on iCloud sync in Settings, your BadgeForge database is stored in your own private iCloud container so it can sync across your devices. This data is handled entirely by Apple under your iCloud account, and the developer has no access to it. You can turn sync off at any time, which copies the data back to local storage.
3. Photos
When you attach an evidence photo, you choose it through the system photo picker, and the selected image is copied into the app's local storage. BadgeForge does not access your photo library in the background and requests no photo-library permission.
4. Notifications
If you enable daily reminders, BadgeForge schedules local notifications on your device. No notification data leaves your device, and no push or remote-notification service is used.
5. No Tracking or Analytics
BadgeForge contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking of any kind, and never sells personal information. The only third-party component is GRDB, an on-device database library that performs no networking.
